We wish to promote wearing saree in the most simple manner. Our target group is kids, young girls and all ladies but currently our main focus is all working ladies for whom it is difficult to wear sarees due to lack of time. We have stitched the saree with a petticoat and pleats are pre-set so that the saree can be worn as easily as a skirt or pants. We work on a customized service model where we accept sarees from our customers and stitch them into Jhatpat saree. We also have our own range.
We are currently a D2C brand, and have completed more than 30 orders. We are actively promoting our product using sponsored advertisements on social media. After spending Rs. 15195/-, we have been able to generate a revenue of Rs. 30150/-. Our current cost per saree is Rs. 1,000/-, and we sell it at Rs. 1,200/- to Rs. 1,800/-. When we will be able to purchase the material in bulk, our cost price will go further down, increasing our profit margins.
We plan to enhance our reach to maximum number of potential customers. We are targeting 70 to 100 pieces of our Jhatpat sarees, and intend to take 100 to 150 customized orders within the next six months. We require an investment of Rs. 2 lakh, which will be used to procure raw material, prepare the product, and advertise the product, along with other miscellaneous expenses.
